How to Estimate Injection Molding Cycle Time

The engineering question

Start from a stable recorded cycle, then separate fill, hold, cooling, open/eject/close, and screw recovery. Use a cooling model as a screen, not a substitute for ejection, warpage, quality, or automation validation.

What to document

Cycle improvement changes capacity only when the limiting operation and quality boundary are retained.

Practical workflow
