Feature-screening workflow

Measure the part, screen each feature, then validate the complete design.

    Establish the wall basis

    Record nominal, minimum and maximum CAD wall thickness and the project-specific allowable deviation.

    Screen reinforcing ribs

    Compare rib base thickness, height, clear spacing and base radius with the adjacent nominal wall.

    Screen fastening bosses

    Keep the boss wall, fastener or insert, outside diameter and base radius on one measurement record.

    Check draw direction and finish

    Compare actual CAD draft with the supported depth reference and the texture or finish supplier's minimum.

Method boundary

The ratios are early design references, not universal acceptance limits. Resin grade, appearance class, fiber orientation, gate and cooling layout, tool steel, machining, ejection and part function can change the appropriate geometry. Preserve every source and project override with the result.
